A personal perfume develops through consultation and sampling. The recipient’s participation is useful, especially if you are unsure of their scent preferences.
Bring the story you know
You can begin the enquiry with a meaningful memory, an occasion or a few observations about what the recipient enjoys. You do not have to choose all the notes on their behalf.
Plan the surprise
Discuss when the recipient should join the process. A finished fragrance needs time for development, so confirm how the gift experience and presentation will work before committing.
Allow time to create
Share birthdays, anniversaries or other deadlines early. The atelier can advise on availability and the scope of the commission, including separate pricing for paired perfumes.
